EMPLOYMENT

  • Integrated communications company. I contributed to a wide array of campaigns and projects including brand design, website UX/UI, creative concepts, event stand design, image retouching and much more; across technology, culture and community sectors

  • Experience consultancy made up of strategists, designers, data analysts, engineers and delivery experts create and orchestrate transformative experiences for customers, employees and partners.

    I worked on various creative deliverables including print and digital marketing for car brands including BMW and MINI.

  • Pure Electric are an electric mobility brand, specialising in e-scooters and e-bikes. My role supported the UK marketing team with various creative projects / outputs – from Shop display graphics (both print & animation) to social media & web assets. I was also responsible for being the brand guardian by maintaining the company’s commercial profile in any creative capacity. This included being involved with new creative concepts, marketing campaigns and producing supporting graphics and literature for new products, working closely with the RDD engineers.

  • Contractual work where this primarily entailed design tasks for the Department for International Trade; covering a wide range of creative collateral including exhibition stand graphics, brochures & literature, printed marketing and digital assets.

  • Bray Leino CX were a B2B integrated marketing agency that helped brands identify and fix any gaps in their customer experience, as well as providing strategy and execution; creative strategy; digital transformation, design and execution; SEO and PPC. Within a small creative team, I assisted in the production of digital assets, adcepts, creative presentations, outdoor artwork, email templates as well as digital projects and integrated campaigns.

  • My responsibilities included designing and developing B2B campaign materials and creating/adapting various integrated marketing assets, such as Powerpoint presentations on an ad hoc basis.

  • Research Media were a creative communications agency specialising in editorial and design for the research intensive sectors. As a junior designer, my primary daily task was designing research articles and cover designs for the flagship print & digital publication, International Innovation. Other duties involved creating digital magazines for the International Innovation website. I also supported the rest of the design team, working on B2B projects creating bespoke creative solutions as well as branding and infographics.

A month's placement where I supported the marketing team in the delivery of various graphic assets and creative campaigns, both print and digital, for the university’s 2017/18 academic year.


Proctor + Stevenson / Creative Intern
2016 - 2017

Three month placement (lightly) involving a variety of design projects for multiple clients including Panasonic, Daikin and Proctors’ own marketing – both internal and customer facing. Creative included aspects of digital marketing, website design, branding, art-working and film production.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

I have a decent amount of agency experience, in both print & digital design, with a keen eye for branding, editorial design, information graphics and illustration. I'm proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly the core design apps.

Other technical skills I’ve acquired include knowledge of web based platforms such as Squarespace, Framer and Mail Chimp; UI/UX with Figma and more recently, video editing skills using Jitter, Adobe Premiere and Premiere Rush. I also have elementary knowledge of HTML and CSS.

From my experiences of working in different agency environments I've picked up a multitude of interpersonal skills; including an aptness to multi-task, meet deadlines, prioritise work schedule efficiently as well as being highly agile. I'm adaptable to work independently or as part of a team – utilising a strong 'team player' work ethic.

INTERESTS

I regularly read design blogs and attend design talks to stay current with the latest creative inspiration, styles and trends.

Outside of the design world, I try to maintain an active lifestyle with as many outdoor pursuits as possible.
